Ella Kate Dewees is a Baltimore-based illustrator who loves experimenting across digital and traditional media to create images that spark a sense of comfort and friendliness. With a focus on the natural world, Ella Kate enjoys adding elements of whimsy and playfulness to each of her projects. She has experience with book illustration and children’s media, and loves bringing characters to life through words and pictures. Ella Kate graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art in December of 2022 as an Illustration major and Book Arts minor.
In her free time, Ella Kate enjoys bookbinding and miniature sewing. She hopes to one day have a pet rabbit :)
