In The Great Carrot Conflict, two rabbit cities, Cloverville and Cottontail Town, prepare to celebrate the end of the summer by baking a giant carrot cake. When they go to harvest the carrots, they disagree about who the best carrots belong to. When both towns meet, an argument ensues. Tension rises and rises until the librarian rabbit finds a photo album with a very old picture of both towns celebrating together with a giant cake. The rabbits finally realize that if they combine their carrots, they can make the biggest carrot cake together. The Great Carrot Conflict is a picture book for children ages 3-6 about two groups of rabbits who learn a lesson about teamwork and sharing after a long quarrel including humor, heists, and a family of hungry groundhogs.
